About the Creator

Wild Hearts Creative was founded by Gem Mullings, an adoptive parent, Early Childhood Studies BA (Hons) graduate, former Sure Start Family Support Worker and Childcare Lecturer.

Wild Hearts was developed to help bridge the gap while children are waiting for specialist support.

Many emotional literacy resources focus on identifying feelings. Wild Hearts goes a step further by encouraging children to explore, reflect on and express those feelings through creativity.

The resources support adults to better understand what may sit beneath big behaviours while providing opportunities for children to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences through creative prompts, reflection activities and affirmations.
