Supporting children with big feelings
Many children struggle to express what they are feeling. This can show up as overwhelm, shutdown, or challenging behaviour.Often, children are taught to name feelings - but not how to process them.
These tools go beyond simply telling children how to feel. They combine gentle affirmations with creative, sensory-based activities that help children explore and express their emotions. This supports children to:• express what they are feeling
• explore those feelings safely
• begin to understand themselvesBecause children don't just need words - they need experiences
Designed for:
• primary schools
• pastoral teams
• SEND support
Also suitable for:
Children experiencing
big feelings, transitions, or emotional overwhelm
These tools can be used to support emotional wellbeing within the classroom, small group work, or 1:1 support.

I created these tools because children are often taught to name emotions - but not how to process them. These kits gently support children to explore and express their feelings through creativity, in a way that feels safe, natural, and meaningful
