Frequently Asked Questions
Here are answers to some of the questions we are most frequently asked about Wild Hearts Creative resources, ordering, delivery and support for schools and professionals.
What are Wild Hearts Creative resources?
Wild Hearts Creative creates gentle, creative emotional literacy resources for children.
Our resources combine reflection prompts, affirmations, creative activities and adult guidance to help children explore feelings, express experiences and feel heard—particularly when finding the right words may be difficult.
Are your resources a form of therapy?
No. Wild Hearts Creative resources are not therapy and are not intended to replace professional or specialist support.
They offer gentle, accessible opportunities for emotional expression, reflection and connection with a trusted adult. They may also be used alongside existing therapeutic, pastoral or wellbeing support.
Who can use the resources?
Our resources can be used by parents, carers and trusted adults, as well as professionals working in schools, healthcare, family support and other children’s services.
They are particularly suited to:
- ELSA provision
- SEND support
- Nurture groups
- Pastoral support
- Emotional literacy work
- Family support
- Transitions and significant life experiences
- Calm and reflection spaces
What age are the resources suitable for?
Our resources are primarily designed for primary-aged children. However, every child develops differently, and many of the activities can be adapted to suit an individual child’s developmental and emotional needs.
We encourage adults to choose the prompts and activities that feel appropriate for the child they are supporting.
Does a child have to complete every activity?
Not at all. There is no expectation for a child to complete the activities in a particular order—or to complete them all.
Children can choose what feels comfortable and return to the resources whenever they are ready. The aim is to offer opportunities for expression, not to place additional demands on the child.
Does an adult need to be present?
Our resources are designed to encourage connection with a safe, trusted adult. Some children may want to explore independently, while others will benefit from an adult sitting alongside them, remaining curious and giving them time and space.
Adults do not need to have all the answers. Sometimes simply being present and listening is enough.
Do you supply schools and other professional settings?
Yes. Wild Hearts Creative supplies individual resources and collections to schools, pastoral teams, SEND and nurture provisions, healthcare settings and other professionals supporting children.
Schools can order individual kits, themed collections or the complete Wild Hearts resource library.

How long does international delivery take?
International delivery times vary depending on the destination and local customs processes. Tracking information will be provided where available.
Please be aware that customs checks can occasionally cause delays that are outside our control.
Can I return an item?
We offer a 30-day return period. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase.
Personalised items cannot usually be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty. Please email hello@wildheartscreative.co.uk before sending anything back so that we can provide the correct instructions.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@wildheartscreative.co.uk, including your order details and photographs where possible. We will look into the problem and work with you to put it right.
